I dreamed there was a murderer on the loose. I was with friends and we were protecting each other. Then they all left and I was alone in my home. I was so scared. I thought what will I do to defend myself if the murderer gets in. I locked all the doors and turned out the lights so he couldn’t see me. Someone rang the doorbell. I looked out and the guy said he was delivering my groceries. I recognized the guy as the murderer and said no way. He said all of your doors are locked, but I’ll get in sometime later when they aren’t. I was trying to plan ways to protect myself if he did ever get in.
This dream reflects feelings of vulnerability and fear in your waking life. The presence of the murderer may symbolize a sense of danger or threat that you perceive around you.
